    Welcome to the Coaches Corner



    We are excited to start gearing up for the 2010 baseball year!

    Anyone interested in coaching please download and send in the coach application. An online form is coming soon.

    It is MANDATORY for all coaches and assistants to be certified by NYSCA. Our insurance company requires it, and the board believes it is a good idea anyway. Your team equipment will not be handed out until we have the certification in hand. This is an online course taht takes about an hour to complete. The cost is $25 and we will reimburse you for the cost. Once you complete the class, you can print your certificate, which PYB will need for our record. Click here to go to the class.

    All coaches also need to sign and date a background check form. If you have not yet signed one, you can download a form and deliver it to us.

    There is a ton of very good baseball information on the web.  Here are some sites that I have found helpful.

    Baseball Excellence  (They have a good weekly email.)
    Metro Baseball Academy  (A local group that provides instruction.)
